Experiential Programs
These programs are designed to address attachment and bonding, trust, respect, life purpose, self-esteem, self-confidence, self-discipline, self-worth, protection, safety and self-defense, caring and kindness, spirituality, centering control in the self, leadership, competence, relationship and interactive skills, honesty and integrity, motivation and initiative, empowerment, boundaries, anger management and conflict resolution, responsibility, and morality through "hands on" experiences.
- Healing with Horses is an equine facilitated treatment program developed in partnership with Strides to Success.
- Karate Kids is a martial arts based learning program developed in partnership with Action Pack Karate.
- Youth Leadership facilitates the social skills and leadership abilities of volunteer pre-adolescent program graduates through service and mentoring in experiential programs.
- Adventures in Art utilizes art in a group treatment mode to facilitate interaction, growth, learning and healing while experiencing the fun and creativity of art.
- Family Fun provides opportunities, adventures and outings for kids and families both at home and within the community.
- Families Helping Families/A Community Holiday is facilitated by families in our programs who volunteer to assist other families in our programs with donated gifts and food throughout the holiday season.
- Community Service includes our youth mentoring program and our PERKS program: Paybacks for Education and Recreation with kids' services.
