Diane Burks

Diane A. Burks is the Founder and Executive Director of the Indianapolis Institute. She is a graduate of Hanover College and Butler University and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor and a Certified Clinical Forensic Counselor. Diane has 23 years experience in the treatment of children and families, with specialization in the treatment of childhood abuse and neglect, trauma, and special needs youth and adolescents. Diane also developed the Institute’s experiential Healing with Horses/Equine Assisted Treatment program, which serves children, adolescents and families.

 

Gloria Hood

Gloria L. Hood, Senior Clinical Associate and Clinical Director with the Indianapolis Institute for Families is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Social Worker. Her Master’s Degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy from Butler University. Her undergraduate Degree is in Social Work from Goshen College. Gloria has worked as a therapist at the Institute for over twenty years specializing in services for families of abuse and neglect. This specialty has led to training and expertise with foster and adoptive families, ADHD, and Anxiety and Mood Disorders. Her therapeutic efforts target helping individuals and families move through times of difficulty to growth and recovery.

 

Heather Eberth-Teike

Heather A. Eberth-Teike, Clinical Associate with the Indianapolis Institute for Families, holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Indianapolis. Heather is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has experience in family and marital counseling as well expertise in special needs youth, adolescents, and teens with emotional and behavioral problems. Heather has assisted in developing and implementing the Healing with Horses/Equine Assisted Treatment program and is dually credentialed as a licensed mental health provider and equine specialist.

 

 

Jennifer Disbro, Clinical Associate, received a Master of Social Work Degree from Indiana University and is a licensed clinical social worker. She has over 10 years experience in community mental health working with adults, teens, and families. Jennifer has been with the Indianapolis Institute for Families since her internship in 2005 and works with families and children.

 

Jody Tucker

Jody W. Tucker, Clinical Associate received a Master of Social Work Degree from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hanover College. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Jody has extensive experience in the community mental health field working with adults and works at the Institute with adults and adolescents.

 

 

Amy M. Watts, Clinical Associate, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Ball State University. She has experience with family and individual counseling as well as specializing in services for adolescents and teenagers with emotional, behavioral and legal problems. Amy has also developed programs for traumatized teenage girls while working in a residential treatment center. Amy is co-owner with her husband, Cary Watts, of Action Pack Karate in Danville which provides the Karate Kids program in conjunction with the Institute.

 

 

Lisa Mastrianna, Clinical Associate with the Indianapolis Institute for Families is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Lisa holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in Recreational Therapy, also from Indiana University. Lisa has experience working with children and families who have experienced various forms of abuse and violence, as well as experience working with children with special needs, and young children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

 

 

Julie Bingham, Clinical Associate with the Indianapolis Institute for Families is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She received her Masters Degree is Counseling Psychology from Ball State University, where she also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Interpersonal Relations. Julie has worked as a therapist for over nine years in the community mental health field. She has experience working with children of all ages and their families.

 

 

Camishe R. Nunley, Clinical Associate with the Indianapolis Institute for Families is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Trauma Specialist. She received her Masters Degree is Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University, where she also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Camishe has worked as a therapist since 2004 in private practice, correctional facilities and community mental health agencies. She has experience working with adolescents and adults, and she specializes in treating trauma survivors.

 

Jessida Kramer

Jessica Kramer, Director of Operations and Finance, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Hanover College. She has experience in marketing, project management and sales. At the Indianapolis Institute, Jessica focuses on accounts receivable, office management and operations.
